McCall Cabin 2009!

2008 was a good year for our family. We wanted to do something big for our extended families Christmas gift. Tobe came up with the idea of renting a cabin in McCall for both our families and treating them for the weekend. Tobe's parents, Paris and her friend Taylor, Piper, my parents and grandparents, Jolie, Damon, Tim, and Flavia all were able to come. The cabin was nice and a little over 3,000 sq. feet. The only hitch was the family that was staying there before us was not out when the Brockner's arrived. They made a mistake and packed up and left by the time we made it up there. We all ate at a Mexican restaurant that night. I forgot to ad this picture in earlier. Scarlett had fun combing Dat's hair!

Upstairs in the master suite was two little slanted closets. Scarlett barricaded Piper in there for a few hours. She said "shhhh" when I opened the door because her baby was asleep. (notice in the sleeping bag the little head sticking out) She spent hours in here playing.

I love the look on her face in this picture! She had been all bundled up and lasted 5 min. outside. Then she saw everyone else was going out and she wanted to go back out

We went to the Activity Barn to go sledding. It was a lot of fun! The kids even liked it. Scarlett laughed the whole way up the hill. The nice thing is that you pay and they pull you up the hill. Damon and Ronnie only lasted one run. My dad, Kim, Piper, Paris, Taylor, myself, and Tobe did most of the tubing.

Scarlett and my grandma Rawlins. They sat and ate cookies and talked and talked forever. It was so precious.

We also went ice skating later that day. I got video of that, but no pictures. Beau really liked it a lot. They had these buckets the kids could lean on to skate. Beau said it was his favorite part of the trip. Scarlett fell asleep on the way to the rink so she didn't go.

Beau looks like he's choking Scarlett, but his hand for some reason was just there! They sure love each other. And Aunt PI-PER...

Scarlett ate lots of chips. Grandpa and Flavia played lots of games, while we were outdoors.

It was a great trip!
